Denver Senior Photographer: Lauren Williams, D'Evelyn High School, Class of 2016

Today's featured senior is the beautiful Lauren Williams from D'Evelyn High School.  I met Lauren for the first time last year when she came for her sister's preview session and I knew then that I was excited for the day I would get to photograph her too!  I just love this girl and her spirit...she goes after what she wants and doesn't hold back.  She is an athlete and just an all around awesome person. Lauren, I LOVED our session.  Thank you for choosing me to be your senior photographer. :)

What is your definition of beauty?: Confidence with a smile. :)

As a child, what was the first thing you remember wanting to be when you grew up?: 

A princess.

Who is your favorite Disney princess? Why?: Jasmine.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be? With who? Doing what?: Three Lakes, WI waterskiing.

Denver Senior Photographer: Maddy Amann, Evergreen High School, Class of 2016

Today's featured senior is Ms. Maddy Amann from Evergreen High School.  Maddy is exactly what you expect her to be when you look at her photos...she is genuine, kind, soft, humble and just an all around wonderful person who you want to spend time with.  Maddy, I have absolutely no doubt that you will make this world a better place.  I am so excited for you and all that lies ahead.  THANK YOU for choosing me to be your senior photographer, sweet girl. 

Describe yourself in a tweet! (140 characters or less): I am someone still trying to find just exactly who I am.  I have a wide variety of interests from dance to rock climbing and from diving to track.  I'm always wanting to try new things in the attempt to experience the world around me and all that it has to offer.

What were your first words? Do they say anything about the person you are today?: 

My first word was "mom" which makes complete sense because we've always been really close and still talk to each other about everything and anything.

Share one last thing with us... My goals after high school are to attend a 4-year university and major in either business or nursing.  After college, my dream is to take a year off in order to travel around the Caribbean on a sailboat or houseboat.

Denver Senior Photographer: Drew Bruegman, Arvada West High School, Class of 2016

Today's senior feature is one of my absolute favorites EVER.  Please meet the gorgeous and radiant Drew Bruegman, a 2016 senior at Arvada West High School.  While she may initially come across as quiet, her heart and beautiful spirit are felt immediately.  She is smart, creative, kind, and full of so much joy.  Drew, you are so special.  It was such an honor to get to know you better and get to document this incredible time in your life.  

Describe yourself in a tweet! (140 characters or less): I'm a 17 year old teenage girl.  I'm quiet until you get to know me, then I become a little crazy!  I'm very interested in film production/photography, so I hope to have a career in those fields some day.

What is your definition of beauty?: Beauty is feeling comfortable and confident in who you are.  It's about not worrying what others see you as or trying to impress people, but loving yourself the way you are.  Beauty is feeling happy in your own personal style, looks, and personality.

What song would give us the greatest insight into you?: "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5.

What's your best joke/pun?: My life. Haha.

What's the greatest board game ever invented?: Apples to Apples

As a child, what was the first thing you remember wanting to be when you grew up?: 

I always wanted to be an actress or a singer.

What were your first words? Do they say anything about the person you are today?: 

I t think it was "mom".  I guess it shows that even though my mom and I aren't the same in many ways, I still look up to her and go to her for everything.

Who is your favorite Disney princess? Why?: My favorite princess is Belle because she's more of an introvert like me, and sees the best in people.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be? With who? Doing what?: I would be in New York City with my best friends, meeting famous people and walking around having a good time!

If you went to Hogwarts, what house would you be put in? Why?: For sure Gryffindor because everyone who is average to super awesome is a part of that house, there's a good mix of personalities but everyone fits in and gets along.  And also they are the best at everything, hahaha.

Denver Senior Photographer: Shanan Pierce, Evergreen High School, Class of 2016

Today's senior feature is the absolutely adorable Shanan Pierce, a 2016 senior at Evergreen High School.  We had to wait out a rain storm in the middle of her session and Shanan was so great and easy-going about it all.  She has such a wonderful sense of humor that makes her so much fun to be around.  And those eyes...those gorgeous blue eyes, WOW! :)  Shanan, thank you so much for choosing me to be your senior photographer.  I wish you an incredible senior year, girl!!!

Denver Senior Photographer: Emma Musson, Ralston Valley High School, Class of 2016

To wrap up our week, the featured senior of the day is Emma Musson, a 2016 senior from Ralston Valley High School!! Man, I have to say this girl has STYLE! We had such a fun time getting to photograph this drop-dead gorgeous girl and her amazing wardrobe :) AND  on top of her killer looks, Emma is a sweetie from head to toe; there isn't one "mean" bone in this young woman's body! My team and I wish her the best of luck with whatever this world has in store for her (which is undoubtably something amazing!) :) :) 

Describe yourself in a tweet! (140 characters or less): Quiet but intense, very literal, strong yet gentle, compassionate, empathetic, loyal, hardworking

What is your definition of beauty?: Someone who is strong, loves themselves, doesn't need people telling them they are beautiful, confident, loving, treat people with respect.

What's your best joke/pun?: It took me a loooooong time to figure this joke out ;)

As a child, what was the first thing you remember wanting to be when you grew up?: 

Ever since I was little I have wanted to be a kindergarten teacher! Which still happens to be true today.

What were your first words? Do they say anything about the person you are today?: 

I talked lot later than most kids. I think this says a lot because I am very quiet and a perfectionist. My parents think that I didn't talk because I was trying to form full sentences like adults. My first word was "bus" because we lived by a bus stop and I always would sit and watch it pick up the people. 

Who is your favorite Disney princess? Why?: My favorite Disney princess would be Cinderella. She put up a fight to get to the ball and never quit because she knew she deserved to go. She didn't cheat what needed to get done but her good personality gave her a head start because she had her friends to help. I also love how she never holds the grudges on her step family even in the way they treat her. 

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be? With who? Doing what?: If I could go anywhere I would go to Paris with my older "sister" (she used to be our old babysitter) Carly and my sister Ellie. I would want to go to the lock and key bridge and the Eiffel Tower.

If you went to Hogwarts, what house would you be put in? Why?: Well I have never read any of the Harry Potter books so I had to ask my sister ;) She says that I would be in Ravenclaw. She said that I would be put in that house because I'm smart, an over achiever, and very witty. 

Share one last thing with us... I have three main passions. The first one is my family and friends. I love to be at home with my family but hang out with my friends. The second one is being an athlete. I am crazy about soccer and running! My last one is being with young kids. I love babies and toddlers! I love to help them in any way possible!
