Denver Senior Photographer: Colorado Session | Carson Kavathas | Evergreen High School | Class of 2016

The first day of spring has passed, all the local schools are on spring break, and the trees outside my office window have started to bud...a sure sign of spring, right!?! Nope. Yesterday we got over 2 feet of snow and they are predicting more tomorrow and Saturday. Happy Easter in Colorado, everyone! Haha. Other than office work this morning, I'm spending the afternoon doing a commercial shoot here in my studio. I always really enjoy those so I'm looking forward to my day.

Today's senior feature is the Colorado winter session of Carson Kavathas, a 2016 senior at Evergreen High School. Carson is a member of my 2016 Model Team and I have loved every minute of getting to know and photograph this young lady. She is fun, easy-going, kind and just as sweet as they come. I loved the variety of wardrobe that she brought for this shoot. Enjoy her feature!!

Denver Senior Photographer: Colorado Session | Emma & Ellie Musson | Sisters | Ralston Valley High School | Class of 2016

Do you ever wake up and just feel like you could conquer the world?? I am an overall happy, optimistic and go-getter type of girl, but man, some days I just have that extra spark and I feel like I could accomplish anything and the creativity is just brimming over. I love those days. Today is one of those days for me, so I'm flying pretty high. Maybe it's because I'm Irish and it's St. Patrick's Day...or maybe I just slept good...either way, I'll take it. ;)

In the spirit of creativity, today is the absolute PERFECT day to share one of my favorite Colorado winter session EVER. Emma Musson is a senior at Ralston Valley High School. We did her senior session this summer and then, for her winter session, they decided that they would love to bring in her younger sister, Ellie, and do a sister session. Ummm, YES! Emma, Ellie, and their mom, Sarah, put so much time and effort into their wardrobes and WOW can you tell it! Sarah found the vintage skirts, tops and hats at a local vintage dress shop and then all of the jewelry, gloves, fur coats, and hair accessories belong to Emma & Ellie's grandmother. I just love that so much. These photos will be special to their family for a long time to come for many, many reasons. It's hard to explain, but as a photographer, when clients put in that much effort, are that excited about their photo shoot, and value photography the way this family does, it just inspires me. I'm probably more proud of this session that almost any photos I've ever done. I hope you love them as much as I do...enjoy!
